Course Overview
This programme provides an integrated understanding of school counselling by combining foundations of counselling, psychological development, counselling theories, career guidance, and inclusive practices. It equips learners with the skills to support children and adolescents in managing academic pressures, emotional concerns, behavioural challenges, and career decisions.
Career Opportunities
Graduates can pursue roles such as School Counsellor, Career Guidance Counsellor, and Student Welfare Officer in schools and educational institutions. Opportunities are also available in NGOs, child guidance centres, and community organisations working in student mental health and development.
With further qualifications, candidates may move into private counselling practice, specialised child and adolescent counselling, or advanced studies in psychology and education.
